Fully hardened production tools are always made with inserted Cores & Cavities with locally inserted blocks added in areas that may be prone to wear. Ejector systems are fully guided where necessary, with hot runner systems used if the configuration demands.

Where tooling may require iterative development, we design the tool so that this is easily achievable, and leave features metal-safe to avoid remaking of parts. We will discuss and agree with you the location of tool parting lines, feed positions, and ejector placement.     

Our tooling department utilises leading CAD/CAM technology,and powerful CNC machining centres mean that we can cut materials from simple resin tooling boards for models to fully hardened  tool steels, by either hard-milling or EDM machining.

We make tools for our own products designed in house, customer projects, and we also offer sub-contract toolmaking.
